Presteigne St Andrews first-team manager Tim Broome has confirmed he is still looking to reshape his squad with the news that one player has left the club and he is running the rule over a couple of potential signings.

Luke Hicks has left the club and is believed to have moved to Herefordshire League club Leintwardine Colts.

Tim thanked Luke for his efforts while at Llanandras Park and wished him well for the future but said he was unable to provide the player with the assurances he had been looking for.

“Luke wanted guaranteed first-team football and I couldn’t promise him that so he has opted to move on,” he said.

He has also confirmed he is keen to bring in at least one new player – possibly two – but is playing his cards close to his chest until the picture becomes clearer.  Check back on the site later this week for further news.

It could also be ‘welcome back’ to Nick Evans this weekend for the home match against Llanrhaeadr as he has now recovered from his broken metatarsal.   Luke Boundford will be unavailable, but other than this Tim expects to be able to select from a full squad.
