After the washout of last weekend, all three sides are due to return to action on Saturday 21 November so it is to be hoped that the worst of the weather is now behind us and we can look forward to some decent football.
For those fearing the worst, you can check out the weather prospects here.
The first team are at home to Llanrhaeadr and Nick Evans could return to the squad after recovering from his broken metatarsal. Luke Boundford is unavailable while Luke Hicks and Tom Ammonds have both left the club, although ‘Ammo’ has not gone far – he has agreed a switch to play for CP Llanandras.
Barry Williams takes his Reserves to Newcastle – a side they beat 5-2 at home earlier in the season – but Barry knows this could be a far closer affair. Newcastle served notice of their improved form last weekend with a 4-1 home win over Hay St Marys Reserves in what was the only game played.
CP Llanandras have a busy weekend in prospect – they will host Penybont Athletic in the Mid Wales League (South) on Saturday (kick off 2.15pm) and then Leominster Town Reserves on Sunday 22 November in the Sparey Cup when the kick off will be at 2.00pm.
There are previews of all of these games on the respective team’s page of the site while it is hoped to have match reports up on all three games by Monday 23 November at the latest.
The Under 18s will now be without a match on Monday evening (23 November) as their scheduled opponents at Llanandras Park – FC Phoenix – have withdrawn from the league. More on this on the Under 18s page, but if you were planning on heading down to Llanandras Park on Monday night, hopefully this might save you the journey….
