After their opening Mid Wales League (South) victory of the season against Penybont Athletic on Saturday 21 November, CP Llanandras had been hoping to record a quick-fire Penybont double as they were due to meet Penybont United on Saturday 28 November at the John Beddoes School field.
Due to postponements in the Central Wales and Emrys Morgan Cups yesterday, the league secretary Paul Worts has had to rearrange games and so Andy Crowe’s CP Llanandras will now host Talgarth Town on 28 November.
The December fixtures for the Mid Wales League (South) have now been published and CP Llanandras have a run of four successive home games. After the win over Penybont Athletic and next weekend’s home game against Talgarth Town, Penybont United are the scheduled visitors on Saturday 5 December before a home derby game against Knighton Town on Saturday 12 December.
Andy Crowe’s side will have two further matches in the month – they will head to Builth Wells on Saturday 12 December, but then have a break before hosting Radnor Valley on Monday 28 December.
Presteigne Reserves will open December with an Emrys Morgan trip to Corris United on Saturday 5 December, while they will then host Sennybridge a week later.
It is promising to be a tough end to the year for Barry Williams’ side as they will then head to the league leaders Llandrindod Wells on Saturday 19 December before a Boxing Day trip to old rivals Knighton Town.
These fixtures are subject to change, especially if the weather means that Emrys Morgan or Central Wales cup ties are postponed.
