One win, one draw and one defeat…

The Reserves continued their recent excellent form with a win at Corris

It was to prove something of a mixed bag for Presteigne’s teams in their respective games on Saturday 12 December.

The first team came away from Waterloo Rovers with a point from a 0-0 draw, but it could have been so much better.

According to my informant – the chairman – Presteigne had all the play but just could not break through, although – to be fair – he did say you had to hand it to Waterloo who defended really well.

Well done to the Reserves who have booked themselves an Emrys Morgan fourth-round trip to Montgomery Town after a 2-0 away win at Corris United.

Tom Watkins and Danny Ives were on target for Barry’s side, so the long trip home from that corner of north Wales should have been a merry one…

Mark Ammonds took his tally to four goals in two games for CP Llanandras, but they ended up on the wrong end of a 2-1 scoreline in their home match against Knighton Town at the John Beddoes School field.

If anyone took any photos at any of the games and you are happy for the site to use these in match reports, then please email them.

It is hoped that we will have match reports up on the site on either Sunday 13 or Monday 14 December – depending on when the information comes to hand, and assuming the Reserves have got home by then….
