Presteigne will open with a home game against Builth Wells

Presteigne St Andrews FC’s first team will face two local derbies in their opening two matches of the Spar Mid Wales League season.

They will also have home advantage in their Preliminary Round tie in this season’s FAW Welsh Cup.

The August fixtures will see Jamie Allen and Adie Bennett’s side host Builth Wells in a Spar Mid Wales League, second-division game on Saturday, 16 August.

This will be followed by a Wednesday-night trip to Penybont on 23 August when the kick off will be at 6.30pm.

The following Saturday – 23 August – is a FAW Trophy Conference date and we will let you know the details of this tie as soon as they come to hand.

Then, on Saturday, 30 August, it will be another home tie – this time in the FAW Welsh Cup in which Newbridge will be the visitors to Llanandras Park for a 2.30pm kick off.
