Adam Jones’ late goal earned Presteigne Reserves their third Mid Wales League (South) victory of the new season as they saw off a spirited Llandrindod Wells Colts side in a Thursday night fixture at Llanandras Park.

Jones came off the substitutes’ bench to provide a neat finish from the edge of the penalty area in the dying minutes of the game was no more than Presteigne deserved after they created a host of chances in the second half.

In a more even first period, Llandrindod Wells Colts had taken the lead through a penalty, but Callum Matthews equalised after he ran on to a through ball before finishing well.

A more detailed report will feature on the Reserves page of this site just as soon as the details are to hand, but thanks to Alan Randell for the information so far.  If anyone took any photos at the match they would be happy to have put on the site then please email them.
