Presteigne St Andrews Under 18s’ scheduled Herefordshire Floodlit Youth League match at home to Hinton has been postponed.
The game was due to be played at Llanandras Park on Monday 11 January but it was clearly never going to be on.
Under 18s’ manager Trevor Gummer said the match was off due to the continued presence of the herd of wildebeest occupying the goal at the Lugg View end of the ground, while he admitted the snow wasn’t helping matters either…
No new date has yet been arranged for the game, but the Under 18s are next due in action on Monday 18 January when Leominster are the scheduled visitors to Llanandras Park in the Giantkillers Cup.
