With the likelihood of there being no action for the club’s teams this weekend, it would seem a good time to look ahead, not least because Mid Wales League (South) secretary Paul Worts has confirmed the fixtures for Saturday 23 January.
As anticipated, Presteigne Reserves will be in Emrys Morgan Cup fourth-round action as they will head to Montgomery Town for their rearranged tie.
Meanwhile, CP Llanandras will again have home advantage – but rather than taking on Builth Wednesdays they face the potentially stiffer task that is Talgarth Town in a rearranged fixture at the John Beddoes School field.
The sides were originally due to meet on Saturday 2 January.
As far as we know, the first team will be ‘as schedule’ – they will head to the Spar Mid Wales League leaders Llansantffraid Village.
