Preview of the weekend action…

The current leaders Aberystwyth Reserves are without a game so victory for Llansantffraid would see them go top on goal difference.

Should Presteigne take anything from the game, then Penparcau would be top of the pile on Saturday night were to win their game at Waterloo Rovers, while Bow Street will fancy their chances at home to a Llanfyllin side that is struggling towards the foot of the table.

Tywyn Bryncrug and Bow Street will both be looking to close the gap on the top sides – Tywyn host Llanrhaeadr

Rhayader Town are another side that will be looking to make home advantage count against Caersws Reserves, while Dolgellau will be looking to pick up something from their trip to Newtown Reserves.

Hay St Marys and Carno are locked together on 25 points in mid-table and they are due to meet at Hay.

Presteigne Reserves are in Emrys Morgan Cup action when they will head to Montgomery Town for their delayed fourth-round tie. In the Mid Wales Leageu (South) CP Llanandras will be looking to cause a shock when they entertain promotion-hopefuls Talgarth Town at the John Beddoes School field.

League leaders Rhosgoch Rangers will be looking to strengthen their position wiht a win over visiting Penybont United, while a number of clubs will join the Reserves in the fourth round of the Emrys Morgan Cup.

Knighton Town will host Llandrindod Wells Colts while Sennybridge face the long haul to Newcastle, with Radnor Valley due to host Rhayader Town Reserves. Talgarth Rovers are due to host St Harmon on Sunday 24 January.
