Presteigne St Andrews’ excellent victory at Llansantffraid on Saturday has lifted them to ninth place in the Spar Mid Wales League table.

It is very tight at the top in what is one of the most open title races for years with only seven points covering the top nine clubs.

Aberystwyth Reserves are two points clear of three clubs – Tywyn Bryncrug, Bow Street and Rhayader Town – with two further clubs, Llansantffraid and Penparcau, only a point further back.

There are match reports up on the respective teams’ pages for both the first team and the Reserves, while it is hoped to have a report on the CP Llanandras game up at some stage on Monday 25 January.
