Presteigne St Andrews FC went some way to banishing memories of the home defeat by Waterloo Rovers when a late equaliser secured them a deserved point at home to Four Crosses on Saturday, 25 August.

Shaun Harris’ side went ahead in this one when Chris Evans netted, but they then found themselves chasing the game.

Four Crosses initially equalised before the interval and the went in front after it and it looked as though it might be another one of those days.

But fortunately for the home side Jordan Cooper was on hand to fire home from a last-minute free kick to make the final score 2-2.

Those who were at the game who I have managed to speak to felt Presteigne were good value for a point and so this is another step in the right direction.

The first team will return to action on Saturday, 1 September when they will head to Borth United for their FAW Cup first-round qualifying tie.
