Presteigne Reserves will aim to build on Friday evening’s positive start to the Mid Wales League (South) season when they will entertain Knighton Town Reserves at Llanandras Park on Tuesday, 28 August.
Joint-manager Mark Weiland says he and Alan Stocker will have more players from which to select for this game.
“Terry Williams and Bobby Bird return to the squad but Gareth Bull – who is on holiday – is the only player missing from Friday’s win against Hay,” said Mark.
“Tim Office is a doubt with a knee injury and Darryl Gower is out also with a knee injury.
“We’ve got a great opportunity to build on Friday’s win, but it is always a tough encounter with it being a local derby.
“Playing after a Bank Holiday weekend will also be a factor but here’s hoping we can build on Friday’s win.”
The kick off will be at 7.30pm and admission prices will be the usual £2.00 for adults and £1.00 for senior citizens and youngsters under the age of 16.
