As usual, my thanks to 100 Club ‘Drawmeister in Chief’ Les Pitt for forwarding the results of the August draw.
This took place in the Royal Oak on Friday, 31 August.
As Les points out, such is the way of a draw, but this month saw three of the four prizes go to people with very close links to the club.
“The lucky winners on Friday in the Oak included yours truly, the President and the wife of a committee member and our website manager.
“So, all a little embarrassing!”
But then they all bought tickets for the 100 Club so have as much right to win as anyone else – it’s just the luck of the draw.
Well done to all our winners for August – the next draw will take place at the Bowling Club on Friday, 28 September.
