My thanks to Reserve-team joint-manager Mark Weiland who has forwarded me his team news ahead of the Mid Wales League (South) fixture against Brecon Northcote Reserves at Llanandras Park on Tuesday, 4 September.
“Billy Hyett and Terry Williams miss due to hamstring injuries picked up against Knighton,” said Mark.
“Shane Griffiths is also outdue to an ankle problem while Tim Office is struggling with his knee injury.
“We are also without Bobby Bird who is away but we do have some very good replacements.
“In come Duane Anning, Sam Roberts and Tom Crichton to help us out as losing those players to injury has hit us hard.
“I am not in terms of a time frame for Billy and Terry but it will be a few weeks as hamstrings usually are that long while Shane may longer.
“The lads coming in though are no strangers as they’ve all played for me at some stage.
“It would have been good to keep a settled squad but it can’t be helped due to the injuries.
“We’ve got a very good chance to continue our good start.
“With Talgarth Town winning every game so far I think we have to do the same as we face them on Friday night in what will be another big game.”
