Presteigne St Andrews FC face a trip across Wales for their MMP with Norman Lloyd League, second-division match on Saturday, 27 October.
They will head to Borth United – so, from Presteigne in the extreme east of the country to Borth where, if you go any further west, then you’ll get your feet wet.
Shaun Harris will be looking to his side to build on last Saturday’s first league win of the season in which they saw off Abermule 3-2 at Llanandras Park.
Borth were relegated from the first division last season and have not had the best of starts this time – they are currently one place and one point above Presteigne in the table.
But, for all that, Borth are likely to prove a handful on their own ground of Uppingham Fields and it hasn’t always been the happiest of hunting grounds for Presteigne.
However, records are made to be broken and here’s hoping the first team can come home with something to show for their efforts.
The kick off at Borth will be at 2.30pm.
