Thanks to first-team boss Shaun Harris for sharing with us his thoughts on the dramatic game at Borth United on Saturday, 27 October.
A fine second-half comeback wasn’t quite enough for the first team in this one as they ended up falling just short in losing 6-5.
“This was a very entertaining game although, at 4-0 down at half-time all kind of thoughts were running through my mind,” admitted Shaun.
“I decided to change formation and move Jordan Cooper from defence to left wing.
“This was to have an an instant impact.
“Moving Jordan further forward had been in my mind for many weeks but injuries and players unavailable at the back left us with few options.
“The second half at Borth was something special my only regret is the fact we didn’t find the sixth goal meaning we’d be coming back with a point.
“If we can stop conceding soft goals and with our new-found goal-scoring ability of eight goals in two games we will have a chance of climbing the league table.
“It does seem this year that the standard of the league has improved a lot.
“We have four very hard games in front of us but if we can get at least six points from those I will be happy.”
