Tuesday-night action for the first team

Presteigne St Andrews FC will be back into MMP with Norman Lloyd League second-division action on Tuesday, 30 October.

They will take on Aberystwyth University at Llanandras Park in a game scheduled to kick off at 7.30pm.

But manager Shaun Harris will again be forced into chances due to injuries sustained on Saturday and a number of players who are working away.

“I’m likely to rest Curtis Williams who’s still struggling with a hamstring injury,” said Shaun.

“Jamie Blythe is working so will also miss out, while Fin Özsoylu is on holiday so will miss the next two games and Adam Crowe is working away.

“We have also lost Neil Walmsley for the few weeks at least with a calf problem.

“He joins Jordan McQueen and Matt Venables on the sidelines – they will both be out for some time.

“We welcome back Joel Layton to the squad this week.

“Tom Lewis and Liam Tomkins will both be involved again having stepped up from the reserves for the Borth game and they have more than earned their place in the first team.

“Both performed well having having come on at half-time.”
