…nothing happens for ages, then two turn up at once.
So it appears, it is with wins for the first team but not that anybody is complaining as they made it two MMP with Norman Lloyd League second-division wins in eight days.
They backed up the impressive 6-1 victory at Newbridge-on-Wye with a 3-2 home success over Borth United at Llanandras Park on Saturday, 23 February.
Presteigne appeared to be well on their way when they opened up a 3-0 lead courtesy of goals from Jamie Davies, Josh Griffiths and Keanu Barnett.
But Borth hit back with two goals of their own to ensure there was a degree of finger-nail chewing among the home supporters.
But the first team saw it out – well done to everyone concerned and here’s hoping this is the prelude to the squad ending the league campaign with a real flourish and showing everyone the potential to kick on for next season.
