My thanks to the Mid Wales League (South) secretary Paul Worts for forwarding details for a change of fixture for the Reserves.
As mentioned towards the end of last week, the Ressies had been due to go to Talgarth Town on Saturday, 2 March.
But recent flooding of the Talgarth dressing rooms means the Breconshire side had been sharing facilities with the rugby club while repairs are taking place.
The rugby club has a home game on Saturday, 2 March and so our trip to Talgarth was postponed as a result.
But Alan Stocker’s side will have a mid-week match the following week when they will host Newcastle on Tuesday, 5 March in a 7.30pm kick off.
This will mean there will be two home games in a week for the Reserves as they will then host Hay St Mary’s Reserves in their Pip Samuel (Electrical) Mid Wales League (South) Cup quarter-final tie on Saturday, 9 March.
