Due to the change of management structure at the club in recent weeks that has effectively led to Alan Stocker running both sides between now and the end of the season, there have been a few changes in fixtures.
From the outset, our thanks go to Mid Wales League (South) secretary Paul Worts for his understanding of the situation in which we find ourselves and for being so accommodating in helping us out.
So, the scheduled Pip Samuel (Electrical) Mid Wales League Cup semi-final tie at Llanidloes Town Reserves that was due to be played on Saturday, 6 April will now be played a week later on 13 April.
There will now be no game for the Reserves on Saturday, 6 April as Alan will be in charge of the first team as they round off their MMP with Norman Lloyd League, second-division season at Four Crosses.
The Ressies will return to action on Tuesday, 9 April when they’ll host Penybont United under the lights at Llanandras Park in a 7.30pm kick off.
Then, it will be two games in 24 hours – on Saturday, 13 April it will be off to Llanidloes for the League Cup semi-final, followed by a home game against Knighton Town Reserves in the Alfred Sparey Cup semi-final on Sunday, 14 April.
Saturday, 20 April will see the Reserves head to Talgarth Town for a game that will double up as both a league fixture and the semi-final of the Ron Ellis Hay St Mary’s Cup.
Then, the league campaign will end on Wednesday, 24 April when the Reserves will host Builth Wells Reserves at Llanandras Park in a 7.30pm kick off.
Of course, if the Ressies were to win one or both of their semi-finals then there would be cup finals to factor in, but we’ll cross that bridge if and when we get to it.
