Presteigne Reserves will return to Mid Wales League (South) action on Thursday, 22 August.
Bryn Roberts’ side will host Rhayader Town Reserves in a 7.30pm kick off at Llanandras Park.
After the opening-day mauling by a Brecon Corries side that is already looking as though it’s playing a couple of levels below where it should be, the Reserves will see this match as a chance to prove they are much better than that result would suggest.
But almost everyone I have spoken to so far felt Brecon Corries are likely to do similar damage to quite a few clubs in the ‘South’ this season.
After the first team went down 5-4 at Rhayader Town on Tuesday evening, this is a chance for the Reserves to redress the balance so here’s hoping they can come up with the right result in this one.
Rhayader Reserves have played only once so far this season – they went down 4-1 at home to Brecon Northcote on the opening Friday night of the season.
So, a 7.30pm kick off at Llanandras Park and admission prices will be the usual £2.00 for adults and £1.00 for senior citizens and youngsters under the age of 16.
