Presteigne St Andrews FC are still seeking their first league win of the MMP with Norman Lloyd second division season after they went down 6-3 at Penparcau on Saturday, 24 August.
This was always likely to be a difficult game and well done to those players who were prepared to make the long trip.
Tom Crichton scored twice while Ewan Rhodes was also on target as Presteigne were in the game until half-time when the scoreline was 3-3.
But the home side then got away from Terry Williams’ side after the break and eventually closed out a 6-3 victory.
Once again, there was clear evidence there are goals in the side but clearly, having shipped 24 goals in our opening four matches, there are defensive issues to be resolved.
Next up, it will be a derby game against our old rivals from ‘over the hill’ when Knighton Town visit Llanandras Park on Friday, 30 August when the kick off will be at 7.30pm.
