Knighton Town have parted company with manager Adriano Girolami after a disappointing start to their MMP with Norman Lloyd, second-division season.

The club has confirmed the news in a brief statement on the Mid Wales League website which you can read in full by clicking here.

Adriano was formerly in charge at Llanandras Park while he has also spent time with Newbridge-on-Wye.

Knighton’s statement pays tribute to ‘Adj’ for taking on the job in what they describe as ‘a very tough time last season’.

The Bryn-y-Castell club is now searching for a new first-team manager or coach.

Knighton Town are, of course, due at Llanandras Park for a league match on Friday, 30 August.
