Presteigne St Andrews FC will open their Radnorshire Cup campaign on Sunday, 22 September.
They will head to Talgarth Town for their first round tie which is due to kick off at 2.30pm.
This has the makings of a tough game as, while Talgarth Town play a level lower than the first team in the Mid Wales League (South), they are usually up there among the leading club.
They have also recently played in the MMP with Norman Lloyd second division so know the level well.
They are certainly in good goal-scoring form heading into this afternoon’s tie as they put eight unanswered goals past St Harmon in a home league game on Saturday, 21 September.
But here’s hoping Terry Williams’ side can come up with the sort of performance they are capable of and can come home with the right result.
