Presteigne St Andrews FC bowed out of the Radnorshire Cup when they were beaten 3-0 in their first-round tie at Talgarth Town on Sunday, 22 September.
Despite having more than their fair share of possession in the first half, Terry Williams’ side found itself 2-0 down at the interval.
Talgarth went on to add a third goal after the break to close out the win.
So, disappointment for the first team who, apparently, more than played their part for periods of the game but were unable to make it count in the attacking third.
Still, at least we turned out for the game – two of the other three ties scheduled for yesterday were walkovers as both Llanidloes Town and Brecon Northcote progressed.
Brecon Corries are also through as they were 3-2 winners in their tie at Radnor Valley.
