A busy weekend of football stretches out ahead of us with both the first team and the Reserves due in action on Saturday, 19 October.
Terry Williams will take his first-team squad to Forden United for a MMP with Norman Lloyd League second division fixture.
Forden joined the league this season after a successful spell in the Montgomeryshire Amateur League and have settled in quickly to life at the higher level.
They sit comfortably in mid-table with 10 points on the board from their opening seven league games.
Their away form has been a bit mixed so far – there was a fine 5-1 win at Aberystwyth University and a very creditable 2-2 draw at Borth United, but they went down 5-0 at Newbridge-on-Wye.
But, given Newbridge’s performance when visiting Llanandras Park recently, there will be more than a few Presteigne fans who will feel there was no disgrace in Forden’s result in that one.
As for the Reserves, they are at Llanandras Park for a J Emrys Morgan Cup second-round tie against Llanfyllin Town.
The kick off in this one will be at 2.30pm and there will be extra time and penalties should they be required.
Admission prices for this one will be the usual £2.00 for adults and £1.00 for senior citizens and youngsters under the age of 16.
