Presteigne St Andrews FC will make the short trip to Bryn-y-Castell on Thursday, 26 December for a 2.00pm kick off.
Presteigne will take on old rivals Knighton Town in a MMP with Norman Lloyd second-division fixture.
This is a game between the division’s bottom two clubs who have managed only one league victory between them so far this season.
That came when the sides met at Llanandras Park on Friday, 30 August when at Tom Crichton hat-trick earned Presteigne a 3-0 victory.
Knighton Town have had a very tough season – they are yet to record a victory and are currently sitting on minus-6 points due to points deductions for fielding ineligible players.
But there is no doubt the Robins will be up for this game – not only is there the derby element but they will also see this as being their best chance to get off the mark in terms of league points this season.
Here’s hoping manager Alan Stocker is able to field a strong side for this game and that Presteigne can come away with the points.
So, a reminder – the kick off in this one will be at 2.00pm and I am sure the squad would appreciate a large and loud travelling support.
