Both Presteigne St Andrews FC and CP Llanandras were in pre-season action on Wednesday, 4 August.
John Haycox’s Presteigne side headed to Talgarth Town where they ran out 7-3 winners in their warm up game.
Lewis Jones was on fine goalscoring form in this one as he reportedly netted four time.
So, all very encouraging as far as Presteigne St Andrews were concerned.
CP Llanandras headed to Mill Street to take on Kington Town Reserves and, while they were beaten 2-0 on the night, reports from this one suggest there were still plenty of positives for Bryn Roberts and his squad.
Trevor Gummer was among those travelling over to take a look at this one and he reports it was a good game with both sides missing a number of chances.
