Presteigne St Andrews FC came away from Brown Clee with a one-all draw in their latest pre-season fixture.
The game was held on Tuesday, 10 August in Cleobury Mortimer and proved a useful work out for both sides – with Brown Clee due to start their league programme on Saturday, 14 August.
The home side drew first blood – they went in front in the second half with Jack Williams on target.
It was to prove a good contest with both goalkeepers called into action at various stages throughout the first period in particular.
But Presteigne stayed very much in the game and drew level when Sam Davies levelled things up for John Haycox’s side.
