There will be some Friday night games

CP Llanandras rounded off their pre-season programme with a 4-0 home defeat by Tenbury Wells on Saturday, 28 August.

Now, attention turns to the opening of the Mid Wales League (South) campaign which will get underway on Friday, 3 September.

What a game to start with – as it will be derby night at Llanandras Park with Presteigne St Andrews FC due to take on CP Llanandras in a 7.30pm kick off.

Presteigne St Andrews will be the ‘home’ side in this most local of local derbies but both sides will be keen to put down an early season marker.

Here’s hoping there is a good crowd for the game so that both sides have plenty of vocal backing.

The full fixtures for both Presteigne St Andrews FC and CP Llanandras for September are as follows – Saturday league matches kick off at 2.30pm, although Cup matches can kick off at 2.00pm to allow for the possibility of extra time and penalties.

You are advised to check back here each week when the kick off times for each game will be confirmed as part of the previews.
