It is promising to be a busy day on Saturday, 6 November with both Presteigne St Andrews FC and CP Llanandras due in Mid Wales League (South) action.
Presteigne will have home advantage for their game against Penybont United with the kick off at Llanandras Park scheduled for 2.00pm.
This has the makings of being a tough game for John Haycox’s side as ‘The Bont’ – or the Polecats as they apparently like to be known – currently top the table with five wins and a draw from their opening seven league matches.
This leaves them three points clear of second-placed Builth Wells Reserves, although Builth’s second string does have a game in hand.
CP Llanandras could do Penybont a favour this weekend as they head to Lant Field to take on Builth Wells Reserves.
Bryn Roberts’ side has played only two league matches so far this season so will be keen to get back into action.
Their last outing was on 11 September when they went down 6-3 at home to Hay St Mary’s Reserves at Llanandras Park.
