CP Llanandras’ hopes of breaking their duck in their Mid Wales League (South) campaign in the final game before the festive break foundered in the face of a strong Builth Wells Reserves side.
The game at Llanandras Park on Saturday, 11 December and Builth ran out winners by seven goals to nil.
This was always likely to be a tough ask for CP Llanandras as Builth’s second string are going well this season – they top the table with 25 points from their opening 11 league matches.
So, Bryn Roberts’ side will have to wait for the turn of the year to have another crack at turning around their fortunes.
Tuesday night will see attention turn to Presteigne St Andrews who will be back in action at Llanandras Park.
In a change of fixture, John Haycox’s side will take on Felindre on 14 December.
A win for Presteigne would put them back within touching distance of the top three sides who have broken away from the pack.
The kick off on Tuesday night will be at 7.30pm and the bar and tea hut will be open for business.
So, if you are at a loose end and fancy getting some fresh air, why not head down to Llanandras Park and get behind the side?
