Presteigne St Andrews FC were held to a 1-1 draw by Felindre in their Mid Wales League (South) fixture at Llanandras Park on Tuesday, 14 December.
While taking nothing for granted against an improving Felindre side, John Haycox’s side would have been looking to make home advantage count in this one.
The first half went according to plan with Presteigne shading it and taking a 1-0 interval lead.
Lewis Jones was the Presteigne goalscorer and things were looking set fair for the second half.
But credit to the visitors, they dug in and came up with an equaliser after the break to ensure they headed home with a point.
There is no game for either Presteigne St Andrews or CP Llanandras on Saturday, 18 December.
Presteigne will be back in action on Boxing Day when they will take on Knighton Town Reserves at Llanandras Park.
