Presteigne St Andrews FC’s Social Club committee has postponed the scheduled evening with The Barebacks at the clubhouse on Friday, 17 December.
This is a great shame as we know many people were looking forward to starting their Christmas build up with a nice of live music.
But, as Social Club chairman Haydn Williams explains, in the current climate it was the only sensible course of action.
“It’s with deep regret that the planned live music event has been postponed,” said Haydn.
“We have been made aware that the Welsh government are very likely to impose new rules and, although this hasn’t been confirmed, we feel it’s in the best interests of everyone if we postpone this today to a later date rather than wait for the announcement.
“We apologise to all those that were due to attend, the band and, of course, the many helpers that were ready to make it a great night.”
