The Mid Wales League (South) fixtures for January have been released although it is probably worth putting in the rider that these will depend on any further restrictions that might be imposed by Welsh government,
But, let’s look on the bright side and assume things are going ahead as planned.
So, football at our level is due to resume on Saturday, 8 January with a home game for CP Llanandras in which they will take on Penybont United. Presteigne St Andrews are also due to be in action that day with an away game at Felindre.
A week later – Saturday, 15 January – both sides will be away with Presteigne St Andrews making the trip south to Brecon and CP Llanandras off to Hay St Marys Reserves.
Then, on Saturday, 22 January, Presteigne St Andrews will be back at Llanandras Park for a game against Newcastle while it will be a trip to Felindre for CP Llanandras.
The final Saturday of the month – 29 January – will again see no game at Llanandras Park as both sides will be away.
Presteigne St Andrews will be off to St Harmon while it will be an away day at the Racecourse for CP Llanandras where they will take on Penybont United for the second time in the month.
All games are due to kick off at 2 o’clock but the league has also put in the proviso that, should there be a shortage of referees, then some matches might well be switched to Friday evenings.
