Saturday, 15 January will see both Presteigne St Andrews FC and CP Llanandras in action, although neither side will be at Llanandras Park.
John Haycox will take his Presteigne side to Brecon for what is promising to be a challenging Mid Wale League (South) fixture.
Brecon’s progress this season had seemingly been serene in the sense that, up until they headed to Knighton Town Reserves last time out, they had an unblemished record of six wins from six games.
But Knighton proved too strong on the day at Bryn-y-Castell as they ran out winners by three goals to nil.
So, Brecon will no doubt be smarting a bit from that result and will be doubly determined to get things back on track on Saturday.
As for CP Llanandras, they will head to Hay St Mary’s Reserves for their fixture and manager Bryn Roberts will be hoping this is the day when his side gets off the mark.
Despite the fact they are still looking for their first win of the season, for long periods CP Llanandras have been very much in the majority of games in which they have figured and it’s to be hoped they will soon put that elusive first win on the board.
If you are planning on travelling to either game, please not that both matches are due to kick off at 2.00pm.
