Presteigne St Andrews FC’s Radnorshire Cup run came to an end at Hay St Mary’s on Wednesday, 2 March.

John Haycox’s side went down six-three on what was a very difficult pitch at Forest Road, but did well to fight back from five-nil down to restore some respectability.

Lewis Jones scored twice with Tom Lewis also on target.

On to Saturday, 5 March and there was frustration for Presteigne St Andrews FC as their game against St Harmon was called off due to a Covid-19 outbreak in the Swifts camp.

CP Llanandras were in action – they headed to Bryn-y-Castell to take on Knighton Town Reserves.

Again, it wasn’t to be for Bryn Roberts’ side, but they more than played their part in a match in which they ultimately went down by two goals to nil.

CP Llanandras had chances in the first half but, in the end, it wasn’t to be despite a spirited showing from the side.
