Presteigne St Andrews FC will host Knighton Town Reserves in a Mid Wales League (South) fixture at Llanandras Park on Saturday, 19 March.
With the weather set fair, this has all the makings of being a good afternoon out what with the derby element, and it’s to be hoped there is a good crowd in attendance.
The bar and tea hut will be open for business so anyone attending can be well fed and watered.
Knighton Town Reserves are in fourth place in the table but can’t realistically have a major say in the title race as this will be their penultimate league match of the season.
They are a much improved side from the early stages of the campaign, but have presumably been bolstered by the unfortunate withdrawal of the Robins’ first team squad from the Mid Wales League earlier in the campaign.
In the first fixture at Bryn-y-Castell on 12 February, Knighton shaded what was a competitive fixture, winning by two goals to one.
The kick off at Llanandras Park will be at 2 o’clock. There is no game this weekend for CP Llanandras.
