Presteigne St Andrews FC will host the long-awaited return of the Maundy Thursday quiz this year – the perfect way in which to start your Easter weekend.
Covid-19 means the quiz has been in abeyance for the past couple of years but it is back with Tim Sanders assuming the role of Jeremy Paxman as quiz master.
There will be a trophy and prizes for the winning team as well as a lot of fun to be had by all.
So, the quiz will take place at Presteigne St Andrews FC’s clubhouse at Llanandras Park on Thursday, 14 March when competitors are asked to turn up at 7.30pm for a 8.00pm start.
It will be teams of four with the entry fee at £10 per team. The bar will be open while there will be refreshments and a raffle.
