A cup final to look forward to

Presteigne St Andrews FC have been asked if we would stage the prestigious Central Wales FA Cup final.

Not surprisingly, we have taken up the offer and so the game will take place at Llanandras Park on Saturday, 21 May when the kick off will be at 2.30pm.

Brecon Corries will take on Llanidloes Town in what should be a very competitive game that will hopefully showcase Mid Wales football at its very best.

We will bring you more details on the game as and when they come to hand, but there is no doubt that being asked to stage the final is very much a feather in the cap for the club.

It’s suggested that part of the reason we have been asked is that the CWFA were impressed by the way the club hosted the Emrys Morgan Cup semi-final Brecon Corries and Radnor Valley.

So, well done to all the committee members, grounds staff and everyone else who gave up their time to ensure that semi-final went off as smoothly as it did – no doubt the chairman will be getting round people for more of the same sort of support on Saturday, 21 May.
