Presteigne St Andrews Under 18s will now entertain Hinton on Tuesday 16 February in their HFA Floodlit Youth League match at Llanandras Park.
The game was originally scheduled for Monday evening, but it has now been put back 24 hours at the request of Hinton.
Presteigne officials were happy to comply as otherwise some members of the Under 18s squad would again face three games in as many days – there were Mid Wales League (South) matches on Saturday, while CP Llanandras were due to play Leominster Town Reserves in a Sparey Cup tie on Sunday afternoon.
There was no doubt that the heavy programme of games was a factor in the Giantkillers Cup exit against Leominster Minors last weekend as the majority of the Presteigne squad went into the match off the back of a double round of Mid Wales League (South) matches.
The kick off against Hinton on Tuesday night will be at 7.30pm and it is hoped to have a detailed preview of the match up on the Under 18s’ page of the site at some stage on Monday 15 February.
