Pre-season training is underway at Llanandras Park and it was a first opportunity for new first-team manager Corin Jones to run the rule over his squad.

There were good numbers present for the first fitness session which was largely run by Trevor Gummer and new Reserve-team boss Roy Simcock.
Corin and his assistant Chris Shurmer were both very much in evidence, though, as they prepare for the challenges involved in the club’s return to the Mid Wales League for the coming campaign.
When speaking to the website at the first session, Corin was very clear on one issue in particular – commitment.
While he appreciates this is becoming an issue with clubs in all sports and in all parts of the country, Corin says there can be no instances of players choosing their games or opting out of long-distance away trips for spurious reasons.
But the early signs were good – a strong turnout for the first training session and no shortage of enthusiasm as the players were put through their paces.
The first team’s opening pre-season friendly will be away against Caersws Reserves.
This game will take place on Friday, 15 July when the kick off will be at 7.00pm.
