Radnor Valley again proved just how strong they are this season whey they beat Presteigne St Andrews FC seven-nil at Llanandras Park on Tuesday, 13 September.
This was the second meeting between the sides in fairly rapid order given the first game at Radnor was played on 26 August.
So, disappointing for Corin and the first team, but it’s probably worth putting in context.
After all, Radnor Valley are likely to be among those sides pushing towards the top of the table come the end of the season.
The first team’s season won’t be defined by matches such as this, but rather by how much the players improve as a unit as the season goes on.
Yes, it was disappointing and fair play to Radnor Valley who were comfortable winners in both meetings between the sides this season.
But it’s a case of pushing on and seeing if we can bounce back from this as we head into the next game.
For the first team, this will be one of the longest trips of the season when they head to Aberaeron on Saturday, 17 September.
The Reserves will have home advantage for their scheduled home Mid Wales League (South) game against Newcastle.
