The draw has been made for the second round of the Central Wales League Cup and Presteigne St Andrews FC will face a long trip north.
Corin Jones’ side was the last club out of the hat when the draw was made at Knighton Town FC on Monday, 10 October.
They will face an away tie at Tywyn Bryncrug in a tie that is due to be played on Saturday, 3 December.
The winners of the tie will earn themselves a place in the last quarter-finals.
The game at Tywyn Bryncrug will kick off at 1.30pm, so this will necessitate an early start.
Incidentally, the conference date is a week later than initially planned as a lot of clubs had asked for a free day on 26 November due to the World Cup.
Corin’s side had already been due to face a long away trip – they had been scheduled to travel to Penparcau for a league match that day.
But the League Cup tie will take priority and so the away game at Penparcau will now be rescheduled for later in the season.
