Presteigne St Andrews FC will return to MMP Central Wales South action on Saturday, 12 November when they will head to Talgarth Town.
After a run of very tough games, Corin Jones’ side will head into this one looking to kick start their season.
That is taking nothing away from Talgarth who are always a good side – especially on their own ground – but the league table suggests there is not a lot to choose between the sides.
Talgarth are only one place and one point above Presteigne in the league table with each side having only the one league win so far this campaign.
So, there is little doubt that both sides will be targeting this match for a league win which should add a little more spice to the game.
Meanwhile, the Reserves will be back in action with a Mid Wales League (South) fixture.
After the scheduled Wednesday-night home match against Newcastle was called off due to a waterlogged pitch, Roy Simcock’s side won’t have to wait long for a game against the south Shropshire club.
Through a particular quirk of the league fixtures – given there are only five clubs in the league – it will be a trip to Newcastle on Saturday.
