Presteigne St Andrews FC’s derby game against Radnor Valley in the Radnorshire Cup on Wednesday, 16 November will go ahead as scheduled.
Given the amount of rain that has fallen in the last 48 hours or so, naturally there had been some concerns as to the effect this might have had on the Llanandras Park pitch.
But committee members have been down to the ground to take a look and the playing surface is looking good and so it will be ‘game on’ this evening when the kick off will be at 7.30pm.
Our thanks to groundsman Tracy Hammond and his team of helpers for the work they put in on the pitch – the elements have hardly been helping them over the past few weeks.
So, Presteigne St Andrews FC v Radnor Valley FC goes ahead – we look forward to seeing a good crowd there.
One plea from the club – if you are coming and you can’t find a space to park on the ground itself, please be considerate when parking on Clatterbrune Estate. We don’t want any of our neighbours being blocked in etc, so please avoid parking across driveways.
