All three games involving Presteigne St Andrews and CP Llanandras on Saturday 20 February will go ahead as planned.
It was always thought that the first team match would not be a major issue as coastal areas tend to fare better when it comes to snow and freezing temperatures, so the trip to Aberystwyth Reserves was never thought to be in serious doubt.
Club chairman Alan Randell carried out precautionary pitch inspections at both Llanandras Park and the John Beddoes School field and, while some areas of both pitches were not entirely frost free, there was ‘give’ in all areas of the field.
With more than three hours to go to the scheduled kick off time, and with the sun shining, both pitches were deemed playable.
There will be results posted from all three matches at some stage later this evening, while it is hoped to have match reports up on either Sunday or Monday.
