After the disappointing 4-0 home defeat by Talgarth Town, Presteigne Reserves hit back in style to see off visiting Newcastle 5-2 at Llanandras Park

Danny Ives scored twice – once from the penalty spot – while Alan Stocker also bagged himself a brace.   Richie Wilding found the net for the first time in a senior game for Presteigne.

CP Llanandras came from two-down in their game at Llandrindod Wells Colts to earn a point from a 2-2 draw.   Corin Jones and Jamie Blythe were on target for Llanandras who are fast-becoming the draw specialists of the Mid Wales League (South).

Thanks to Tom Ammonds for the details – this is being updated from an internet cafe in Greece, so apologies for the fact there are no further details!   Information about the upcoming weekend games will be on the site on Tuesday on my return.

…and, yes, I am seriously brassed off that Radnorshire is getting better weather than Greece is… why else would I be in an internet cafe updating this site when I am on holiday?
