Presteigne St Andrews’ manager Tim Broome has confirmed that midfielder Gareth Mansell will not be available for the Radnorshire Cup Final.
After checking out a number of home addresses, Tim said Gareth lived outside the 20-mile radius of Llanandras Park that would have allowed him to play in the game against Talgarth Town at Hay St Marys.
While final checks are still being made with the Radnorshire Cup secretary Paul Worts, it is thought that Jack Keating will be eligible and so he is likely to be included in the squad.
Meanwhile, Tim has been confirmed the club will not be running a coach to the final on Monday as there was not enough take up to make it financially viable.
The kick off at Hay on Monday will be at 2.30pm, and it is hoped there will be a sizeable travelling support as the first team go in search of silverware.
