There is a report on the CP Llanandras-Rhosgoch Rangers match up on the CP Llanandras page of the site following ‘Crowie’s’ side’s decent showing in the Mid Wales League (South) match last night (yes, I know, seemed a logical place to put the report…)
Quote of the night came from Chris Ammonds who came close to earning his side a point when a clearance by the visiting goalkeeper hit his head and then went over the crossbar.
“He just punched the thing and it bounced off my head over the bar,” said The Stig. “If it had hit my nose, then it would have gone in!”
This was closely followed by Jamie Blythe who, on the final whistle immediately turned to yours truly who was armed with a camera on the touchline and asked: “Did you get any good photos of me for the website?!” Always good to see a player who is fully focused on what they are doing…
Elsewhere, rumour has it that our first-team manager’s rendition of ‘We are the Champions’ is not likely to see him shortlisted for ‘Chorister of the Year’ by the residents of at least one pub in Knighton…
But Tim Broome has now had time to collect his thoughts after the Monday afternoon Radnorshire Cup win over Talgarth Town (and the Monday night celebrations that clearly followed it…) and these have been added into the match report on the first team page.
